Frequently Asked Questions
We understand that clarity and efficiency are paramount when it comes to taking on a new project. Here, we've gathered the questions most frequently asked by homeowners like you, along with clear and concise answers, to help you feel informed and reassured as you consider tackling a new project. When you're ready, contact us to get started.
"How much is this going to cost?"

The final investment for your project is truly unique, as it's shaped by your specific vision. Several key factors, which we discuss in detail during our Estimate phase, influence this including scope and scale of work, material selection, design complexity, site preparation, accessibility and integrated features.
Our Discovery Call is designed to help us understand your needs and provide a more personalized preliminary estimate.
"Will you handle permits and paperwork?"

Yes, we handle the complexities of permits and approvals so you don't have to. Navigating permits, scheduling inspections, and managing HOA approvals can be daunting, but we're well-versed in these processes. We will prepare and submit all necessary documentation for local permits on your behalf. Additionally, during the Project Design & Planning phase, we'll actively help you with gathering and submitting any required plans to your HOA for their approval, helping to streamline this often-time-consuming aspect of the process.
"What is the estimated timeline for the project, including start and completion dates?"

Once your custom design is finalized and the contract is signed, we'll establish a clear project schedule with estimated start and completion dates. While certain factors like material availability or unexpected weather can occasionally influence timelines, we use our project management system to keep you consistently updated on progress. We truly understand that these projects can be disruptive to your daily life, so our priority is always to complete your project efficiently without ever compromising our commitment to exceptional quality craftsmanship."
"Will there be any hidden costs?"

Transparency is a cornerstone of our service, and we believe you should know exactly where your investment is going. Our Proposals encompass
all costs, including design & planning fees, material costs, labor costs, permit & approval fees and equipment costs based on your project. We provide precise, all-inclusive proposals, so you can be confident there are no hidden costs.
"What is your payment schedule?"

Our payment schedule is carefully structured to align with key project milestones, ensuring both transparency and fairness for you. A deposit is collected upon contract signing, which secures your place on our schedule and initiates material procurement. Subsequent payments are typically tied to the completion of specific stages of work, with the final balance due upon your complete satisfaction at the Final Walkthrough. This structure minimizes your upfront commitment and provides confidence as your project beautifully progresses.
"Are you licensed, bonded, and insured?"

Absolutely. We maintain our registration with the Attorney General's office under HIC PA# 127159 as well as we strictly adhering to all local licensing requirements for every municipality we serve.
Furthermore, we carry comprehensive general liability insurance with robust coverage to protect your property and our team, and we are fully bonded. We're always happy to provide all relevant documentation for your review, offering you complete peace of mind.
"What kind of warranty or guarantee do you offer on your workmanship and materials?"

We stand firmly behind the quality and durability of every element we install. We offer a comprehensive 2 year warranty on our workmanship, ensuring your peace of mind long after completion. All materials we utilize also come with their manufacturer's warranties—most of which start with 25-year warranties—which we will clearly outline for you. Our commitment truly extends beyond project completion; we aim to build lasting relationships with all our clients.
"What measures do you take to prevent damage to my existing lawn during the construction process?"

During our initial site visit, we'll walk through potential access points and work zones with you, collaboratively planning the least intrusive approach to your property. We also establish designated access routes and material staging areas, making them as unobtrusive as possible.
Despite our best efforts, sometimes access challenges or weather conditions can make ground disturbance unavoidable. In such cases, please rest assured that we will always reseed any areas of your lawn that are directly impacted by the necessary construction activities
"Do you use subcontractors?"

Most projects are handled by our dedicated in-house crew led by Hunter. While our core team manages every phase and detail of each project, we do collaborate with a very select inner circle of vetted partners who are masters of their craft.
These are experts we have either trained ourselves or hand-picked for their industry-leading accolades and integrity.
Our vetting process is deeply personal and these are the craftsmen we trust to work on our own homes (and a few of them have). When you hire us, you’re getting a team built on long-standing relationships, uncompromising ethics, and our guarantee of excellence.
